About Ghost Fire
Ghost Fire is a free, browser-based stealth tactics game. You command an eight-man SEAL team: plan every move while time is paused, press GO, and watch silent sniper shots, takedowns from behind, hostage rescues and demolition play out across 40 hand-made missions in five theatres. No download, no install, nothing to buy.
How it is built
The whole game is plain HTML5 canvas and JavaScript. The soldiers, vehicles, helicopter, terrain and portraits are drawn procedurally in code; the music, radio chatter and weapon sounds are synthesised live in your browser. Accounts, cloud saves and leaderboards run on a small serverless backend. The source is on GitHub, and an offline Limited Edition is available on itch.io.
